When my sister and I were little kids, we used to be obsessed with dress up games. We would play them for hours on end. Unfortunately, this obsession has lasted with us, and at 13 and 16 we both spend too much of our time playing these games with each other. About a year ago, I discovered a group of games which may be the best dress up games ever invented. They are "Scene-makers". There is a "Tudor's Scene Makers" which I discovered first, but my new favorite is the "Game of Thrones Scene Maker." Right now, like the absolute nerd I am, I'm making a set of different scenes with four person royal families in them. All the families are evil. Each one is from a different region of this weird fantasy world I made. There's a queen, king, prince and princess in each one. It's pretty intense. Anyway, before I post those I'll leave you with the link to this epic and addicting game.

I Hung My Head
I love this song so much!
It's called I Hung My Head by Johnny Cash. It's a cover.
I really like it because the lyrics tell this sad story.
So here's the video and the lyrics.
Early one morning
With time to kill
I borrowed Jebb's rifle
And sat on a hill
I saw a lone rider
Crossing the plain
I drew a bead on him
To practice my aim
My brother's rifle
Went off in my hand
A shot rang out
Across the land
The horse, he kept running
The rider was dead
I hung my head
I hung my head
I set off running
To wake from the dream
My brother's rifle
Went into the sheen
I kept on running
Into the south lands
That's where they found me
My head and my hands
The sheriff, he asked me
Why had I run
And then it came to me
Just what I had done
And all for no reason
Just one peace of lead
I hung my head
I hung my head
Here in the court house
The whole town was there
I see the judge
High up in the chair
Explain to the court room
What went through you mind
And we'll ask the jury
What verdict they find
I felt the power
Of death over life
I orphaned his children
I widowed his wife
I begged their forgiveness
I wish I was dead
I hung my head
I hung my head
I hung my head
I hung my head
Early one morning
With time to kill
I see the gallows
Up on a hill
And out in the distance
A trick of the brain
I see a lone rider
Crossing the plain
And he'd come to fetch me
To see what they'd done
And we'd ride together
To kingdom come
I prayed for god's mercy
For soon I'd be dead
I hung my head
I hung my head
I hung my head
I hung my head

Jekyll is Over
I just watched the last episode of Jekyll. The 6th and last one.
I'm very sad, but God it ended wonderfully!
I won't spoil anything, but the ending is very satisfying.
This might have been one of my favorite series of all time (And I watch a lot of TV!)
But there was a little bit of confusion around some of the endings for me, so I looked it up to find some answers that would tie up my nagging loose ends. I found the perfect site!!!!!
It's this lovely woman who very kindly wrote down all of her ideas about the endings. Everything she wrote was exactly what I wanted to hear, and exactly what some part of me deep down thought it should be.
So I was even more satisfied after finding her wonderful website. Here it is:

If you watched this series, you should definitely have a look at this website.
If you haven't watched this series, you should definitely have a look at the series. And obsess about it.
Pool Time
I think there's nothing nicer than lying by the pool, a glass of lemonade in your hand, and wasting the day away.
It's quite warm here in California.
Yesterday it was a lot more chilly.

I Hate Email
I really hate email.
I have two emails: a personal one and one for school.
Technically, I only hate my personal one.
I've been on a mission in the last couple months to clean it up, but it's been an absolutely dreary job.
I hate having to unsubscribe to every single thing I've ever joined.
I hate the fact I have hundreds of contacts, and the majority are people I haven't talked to in years, I barely knew to begin with, and probably don't even use their emails anymore.
I hate how I don't use my email enough, so when I get an important one I never reply.
I hate how much spam I get.
I hate how no one I care about ever emails me any more.
I really, really, really hate my email.
Does anyone else have an email account they despise?

The Stanford Dish Hike
Just got back from the Stanford Dish Hike.
I wish I took some photos, but I didn't bring my camera as it is too heavy and would have been quite cumbersome.
It took my mother, Sheridan, and I about an hour and 20 minutes to complete.
God, I'm out of shape.
I should probably exercise more often.
Along the way we saw 73 of these adorable little creatures.
They look like a mix between a prairie dog, a meerkat, and a gray squirrel.
We don't know what species they are, but I'm going to look it up.
On another note, I posted again today. So pat on the back to Isobel. I guess.

Goodnight
Goodnight
I'm off to watch the last episode of Jekyll.
It's a six episode series that aired a couple years ago.
I'm watching it on my iPad, since I'm in California and we don't have a TV in our apartment.
I'm really loving the series.
I'm sad it'll be over.
I hope I remember to post at least once more in my life.
Maybe not.

I'm Not Sure Why I Made This Blog
I'm not sure why I made this blog.
It's pretty late at night.
I was looking at my other old blogs from my childhood.
I thought "Hey! I could make another!"
And so I did.
It's funny how things turn out.
